The death of Peter Parker's Uncle Ben made him realize that he had a duty - a responsibility - to fight crime and protect the ones who were not able to protect themselves. With his abilities, Spider-Man was able to fight crime in his city, which is something that the Spider-Man Group desires to accomplish. We want to put an end to crime not just in one city, but throughout the nation.
LIST OF ISSUES
EDUCATION
Here at the Spider-Man Group, we believe that education is a very important factor in preventing and fighting crime. By improving the standards of schools throughout the country, the crime rates are sure to go down. Higher education means that there will be more skilled workers in the workforce, which reduces reason for crime. In addition to that, better education would involve standardized courses on how to prevent crime, putting emphasis on doing the right thing so that more Americans will be safe. The Spider-Man Group seeks to provide funding for schools to increase the knowledge of crime across the country, teaching the youth how to help make America a safer place.
GUN CONTROL
Gun control is another important issue in preventing and fighting crime. By placing stronger restrictions on guns, the chance of a potential criminal obtaining a weapon lowers, and the crime rate drops. By decreasing the accessibility of guns, the chance of a citizen being harmed lowers, and the country becomes a safer place.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
When crime does end up occurring, the Spider-Man Group realizes that law enforcement needs to be well-equipped to deal with such situations. We seek to assist law enforcement all around the country, and we offer funds and state-of-the-art equipment to underprivileged police stations. By doing this, we will increase the the efficiency and effectiveness of our law enforcement and help their crime fighting power match even that of Spider-Man.
