The death of Peter Parker's Uncle Ben made him realize that he had a duty - a responsibility - to fight crime and protect the ones who were not able to protect themselves. With his abilities, Spider-Man was able to fight crime in his city, which is something that the Spider-Man Group desires to accomplish. The Spider-Man Group seeks to provide funding for schools to increase the knowledge of crime across the country, teaching the youth how to help make America a safer place.

Gun control is another important issue in preventing and fighting crime. By placing stronger restrictions on guns, the chance of a potential criminal obtaining a weapon lowers, and the crime rate drops. By decreasing the accessibility of guns, the chance of a citizen being harmed lowers, and the country becomes a safer place.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
When crime does end up occurring, the Spider-Man Group realizes that law enforcement needs to be well-equipped to deal with such situations.
